They did....anyone care to write the end to this tale? Yes, he eventually went to prison. No, he did not have enough resources/insurance to cover their losses. (Insurance companies have more sense than to insure/bond people like HIM, even if people out there will hire people like that!) Never underestimate the stupidity/greed/breakdown of communication/incompetence possible in a contracting situation, be it building or any other kind.....Remember the Novell server sheetrocked up in the wall for 4 years?
