I suspect it to be some kind of removal/reinstalation tool for a special application but have no real knowlege of the sucker. I did a Google search, and the number 1 response was an e-bay auction that ended on January 6th for $.99 (without shipping) for one with a big nick out of the chisel, and the number 2 response was your blog entry. Everything else seemed to be null. Seems like you would either need a pair of them to use the chisel part or another hammer......I just don't know. Ya’ got me.
