Winklepickers anyone?
From the site:
A pair of late 1950’s pointy toe winklepicker shoes by Kingsway made from “antiqued” smooth brown leather with decorative diamond patterned stitching on the vamps. They lace up at the sides (VERY suave!) and have 1 1/2″ high Cuban style heels. The soles are manmade and have very little wear. The shoes are in near mint condition with only the lightest of wear from age and storage. The inside heel is chipped a bit at the bottom on the right shoe but this will not affect the wear or display of the shoes. The leather is still supple and does not have any cracks.
They are marked as being a UK men’s size 6 which seems true to modern sizing but please use the shoes measurements as a guide. The inside sole measures 10 1/2″ but please leave room at the end as the toes are pointy! The inside width is 3 1/4″.
A rarely found collectible pair of shoes!

Interesting shoes. Looking at them, it’s hard to say if kicking ass with them would hurt the kicker or the kickee more…..

Did you go to the site and look at all of the pix of the shoes? There are 4 different views. If not, do so, and take a look at the soles. They have rounded sides or seem to in the photo. Weird shoes. And you KNOW that whoever wore them was a trifle different also…

Definitely weird shoes. Don’t know about KICKING ass with them, but I can think of a bunch of places around here that you would probably GET your ass kicked if you wore those shoes into such a place…..and quite possibly, rightly so….my (usually ingrown) toes hurt just LOOKING at these things…
