Not entirely sure, but I believe that this marks the first time in human history that anyone has ever used the phrases "windup toy steamboat" and "battery powered blinking LED casino broach" in the same sentence.....

Just to clarify: Fixit.technoprimitive.org is open for business. All jobs, both large and small, will be concidered. If I think I can do it I will quote a price.

As you know, I will work on just about anything. Over the years I have fixed a wide range of stuff, ranging from a silver candlelabra to a windup toy steamboat to a battery powered blinking led casino broach.

Certainly agree about the jack stands. Not crazy about getting under them. would rather pick the car up with the tractor and stand beside it while I work on the under carrage... ;-)

Started working on stuff today. Did several pieces that had been kicking around since before christmas. Also got an antenna up so I can check video recordings. Ain't gonna pay for cable just to test equipment.

Site is not totally up for business yet but will be fixit.technoprimitive.org.

Quotes and tickets will be online. Payment via paypal will be accpted as soon as I get the coding done...

2nd try. The power company ate my first comment, even though the computer didn't go down. Weird. I think it blew up my Internet connection, and I didn't have time this morning to fix it.
Anyway, as I said this morning, this sounds like a good fit for you. Word of mouth should bring you plenty of stuff (I regularly, at least every two weeks, say "I've got a friend that could fix that, but I don't think he is doing that kind of work anymore.") Let me know when , and I'll send stuff your way, if you wish. No cars, though. I've sent you enough of those through the years. If it's over my head, I'll find a good mechanic and let him have at it. And a LOT is over my head with cars. The thing I DON'T want over my head, however, IS a car. I don't trust jackstands that much....
