To me it seems more intuitive. Interface is better with less unnecessary crap installed. Default browser has been changed to Firefox 2.x. Runs faster on older hardware. Setup your computer interface has changed greatly.

Please note: There ARE some problems with this new testing release. See forums (http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php?board=39.0) for details.

I'm off to the worktrailer to fit another hard drive in the machine I am using as a test unit and hoping that is my problem. That's after I take it to the barn and use air to blow the masses of dust/dirt off the mother board and out of the power supply. Just love them tempremental computers... :-(

I have just started downloading it. I downloaded the last release version, but did not get a chance to burn/use it. I'll try to with this one, got a couple of machines I could try it on.

Just wondering, in what ways is it different/better than the last stable release? I have that running on a 1200 Mhz Athlon w/512 MB of RAM, and it is OK, and on a PIII 450 with, I think, 312 MB of RAM. Well, it is BETTER than OK, I can manage to do OK stuff with it. The things it lacks are probably hidden by my ignorance. Gotta dig into that command line more, love the speed of the thing, just got to learn the syntax...
