Thanks for the link!

What bothers me most about this, is the the increasing gloabalization of what should be a local small problem. But since we now have plants that do nothing but produce half the US supply of a product, sold through several national outlets, instead of a single local small plant recall we now heve these massive mega "Recall this stuff NOW, before we poison half the populatin of a country" type recalls.

Corprate insainity!

Buy local, think global.

This is the largest pet food recall we've heard of and seems to span most major dog and cat food brands, but it does apply only to wet or moist canned and pouched foods -- no dry foods or biscuit treats are included in the recall.

The below link has some of the most up-to-date information on the recall, with details on the specific Purina, Science Diet, Nutro, Iams, and Eukanuba foods recalled.
