Sorry to hear about the sickness, glad to hear the hand is healing well. Do everything you can to be sure that the bug you have isn't related to the hand wound. This is coming from someone who had two strep infections in the leg, of all places, and I STILL have NO idea where they came from. And that's been about ten years or so--no, I take that back, the first was right at 9 years ago, and the other was 8 years and 3 months ago--the second was while my dad was dying is how I can date it...

I did download it, but have not burned/tried it yet. This weekend has been wrapped up with PowerPoint (well, OO.o Impress) tech support for my wife. She is doing a project for school, and has never used presentation software before. It's been fun....I had a little trouble finding SamLinux because I was searching for SamOS to begin with, but I found it pretty quickly. Downloaded in a reasonable time also, even though I was downloading Ultimate Ubuntu at the same time--THAT took a while. 1.7 GB or so. And of course, the first time it dropped the connection at about 1.5 GB...so it goes.

Hope things get better soon. There has been some nasty stuff going around. A stomach bug (eruptions at both ends) and a flu bug (just generally feeling like kaka). And, if you eat pet food, rat poison in a bunch of food. Yep, it turns out that it was wheat gluten contaminated with rat poison that did in/screwed up all those dogs and cats. Let the class action begin! Well, actually, it already has....
