And yes there was a whole lot of bending going on. And LOTS of clamps. And fiberglassing. Sorry I missed that when I came by. I have a jacket to put in my truck now, so I can do more looking around in the future... The body seems to be made of plywood. Is this so? If so, then a whole lot of bending went on with the construction of that thing. Reminds me of the Albatros fighters in WWI--semi-monoque construction. Strong as hell, and light, also. Of course, the Jelly Bean won't have to stand up to .30 caliber machine gun fire. Hopefully not, anyway.. Does Del have a blog/website? Would like to see more about this. Cool!
