Was a rainy day, and it sounds/looks like more of the same today. Good for the water table, but kinda depressing. It being Friday helps some....

Had a pretty good day, another variety day, mainly at the high school. A little of this, a little of that, and a good bit of messing with the video conferencing equipment. Finally starting to link with another site, and that brings out the glitches. Or glitch--only one thing I couldn't get straight, and I think that will take some advice from further up the support food chain. Suspect it's because there are two major manufacturers of this equipment, and we have one kind and they have the other. There is a setting that needs to be tweaked somewhere, I'm sure.

Got the Tech Fair at JST today, since we are using laptops support is much less tiring. First time we went , we had a TV (or was it two?), ~3 desktop computers, monitors, VCR, extension cords, power strips--about 100 lbs of stuff. This year we have four laptops, an extension cord, and a power strip. I could carry it all at once if necessary. Progress!

Well, gotta go get ready. Stay in and enjoy the sound of rain on the ceiling, and think of me in Leon Cole Auditorium along with a few hundred geeks and their projects. From the 3rd to the 12th grade. It will be interesting, and loud at times....
