Spent Friday at the tech fair at JSU. LOTS of people there--570 competitors, parents, sponsors, etc. Crowded and LOUD. Interesting, but also tedious, depending on the exact time. Crowded and LOUD, though, or did I mention that. Lots of kids doing lots of cool things with technology, from robots to web pages to TONS of videos and Powerpoints. One of the guys from Jacksonville reminds me of you quite a bit, and especially in one of the videos he did. (Two first places, BTW.) Just in the 10th grade, I'm going to see what I can learn from this dude before he is gone.

Carried the old piano off to its new home today. A guy Sue knows redoes old pianos and this makes a good project for him, and a good home for the piano. He liked it. It's a good piano at heart, it just needs some touching up, mechanically. Cooking vegetable soup now, and Sue will be doing cornbread--seems appropriate for the day.

Until later--look for an e-mail from me, BTW....
