MARKS: The two lower collars are inscribed “Double” which means they are gilded.

MATERIAL: Handle: Mahogany wood; Collar: Bronze; Shaft: Wood and two gilt copper collars; Ferule: Brass & iron; Telescope: Brass, glass and small metal parts.

MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUE: Very fine hand carving. Casting & chase work.

CONDITION: Very good ORIGINAL as found condition with few small nicks to the shaft. The WORKING telescope shows a dent and extension tube is somewhat stiff. NO RESTORATION! Please wait for all pictures to load as they illustrate the condition very accurately.
