Alabama Airsoft :: Index

Update Thursday, October 16 2008:

The Alabama Airsoft Forum is no longer at located at Technoprimitive.org due to excessive bandwidth requirements and no assistance from the forum members toward offsetting hosting costs. While we were hosting the games there was some money coming in from the airsoft folks so this wasn’t a big deal. However, it has now been months since the games were played here and I can no longer afford to continue supporting the increasing forum traffic, so I shut it down 2 weeks ago and have now removed the subdomain and forum redirect completely. Since I am still getting hits from people trying to find the forum I am posting this link. Please bookmark it.

The new site is located at Alabama Airsoft Forum.

If you’ve got an iBook and want to use an external monitor at a different resolution along with the existing builtin display this is the program for you! Am sitting here using my Proview 19″ widescreen LCD (1400×900) with the main Firefox window open on it and Skype and another Firefox gmail window open on the iBook 14″ (1024×768) screen. NICE! Tis really a shame that Apple decided to disable some of the capabilities of the iBook via firmware to make the PowerBook more desirable.

Java based video from the link under the picture. Neat little place. Would love to live in something like this but where would I put my library?

To get it to play in Linux I had to click on the pause button and move the position pointer all the way to the left then press the play button again.

OkCupid! The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test

OkCupid! The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test

My score:

Your Score: Joe Normal

30 % Nerd, 30% Geek, 43% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don’t have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you–we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren’t much of an outcast.

I’d say there’s a fair chance someone asked you to take this test. In any event, fairly normal.

Congratulations!

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback!

I love this design. Not that I would ever buy one of these or even the plans (being the do it me self kind of guy that I is) but this is one of the coolest office trailers I have ever seen.

Some strange stuff on this site. The earbud horns are interesting but the park planters are just plain weird. Note (over 18 please) the one with the guy getting a blowjob at the far right of the screen after going to the planter page.
