Meanwhile, it’s time to tell Congress that enough is enough. These people are bothered beyond belief when the government invades one of their colleagues’ offices to look for corruption evidence, but supinely lets Bush and his people turn everyone else’s life into a viewing gallery. Congress needs to hear from us, and right now.

AMEN! Go and read the rest of the article.

Open Admin for Schools

Something that Steve may be interested in. Not sure it will work in as large an operation as the J’ville school system but worth a look anyway.

cbs13.com – Justices: DUI Suspects Can Run But Can’t Hide

This is total bullshit! Not that I am advocating drinking and driving but giving the cops the legal right to break into ANYones home without a warrent to arrest a DUI SUSPECT is going too far.

Skype – The whole world can talk for free.

An incoming number is $4 a month. The one I got is local long distance to the exchange I am in but is free to cell phones, so we have a Tracfone cell phone that is a local call but if we answer it costs us around $0.35 a minute. The way I figure it now is that folks can call the tracfone # and then we can call back from Skype. Not the best of all possible worlds but to have voip and a cell phone for around $15 a month is a hell of a lot better than the $45 bell south and $45 cingular was costing a month.
