RT @Sargent: If I really did spring forward, why do I feel dragged back?

Got to drill & machine a slot in the anvil base to insert the plate support shaft. Got the drive wheel to quill drive adapter made earlier.

Will take the chain saw to finish cutting it up and that’ll have to wait till tomorrow. Guess I’ll get back to building the bushing reamer.

Moved an old woodburner to the front of the Q-hut and have been burning brush old wood and bits of the tree that fell on the building.

Taking a break from turning pieces on the lathe. Got a piece of steel in there now that’ll be the first reamer. At least I’m hoping it will.

Got it far enough along that I was able to use it as a press to press a bushing into the center of a bearing.

By , March 7, 2013 9:21 pm

Spent the last 2 days working on pieces to convert an old drill press into a bushing machine for clock work. Still got a long way to go.

Have a lingering stomach bug. Been with me for nearly a week now. Got a day with nothing out and about to do and just want to sleep.

By , March 6, 2013 6:16 pm

Gonna be one of those days. Spend 30 minutes waiting to smell the coffee perking. Go in kitchen to see about it. Helps to turn the stove on.

Bed is beckoning, but have another 8 pieces to price so I can take them with me to put in the case in the morning at Valley Antiques.

By , March 4, 2013 3:32 am

Plugged it in and the compressor came on! Cooling was soon achieved. Then home. Been pricing some of the coins I picked up earlier.

By , March 4, 2013 3:30 am

Located the problem and then went to track down the parts. Finally got them (or some bits that would work) and back and installed them.

Not mush to sell so tis up in the air still. Then back to the folks to find that the refrigerator was not cooling. Did the troubleshooting.

By , March 4, 2013 3:28 am

Came back here and did lunch. Then went to the folks house and then to look at an estate that we may be running the sale on.

Went to Flamingo Trade Day this morning after all. Ended up getting a few things that made the trip worth while.

Cold here in the south is somewhere around freezing so isn’t that bad out. Just not sure there will be any vendors there.
