BlogBridge: Home
Don’t know what BlogBridge is? No problems – we think it’s the best news feed and blog
aggregation system – bar none! Not only will BlogBridge let you subscribe to your favorite
RSS feeds, it will also help you sort through your existing feeds and help you discover new
feeds.

It also comes with a server-based service that will let you synchronize all your feeds
across multiple computers, and even maintain your read/unread status across those computers.

Just trying it but it looks nice, especially for those that use a bunch of different computers but want to keep up with feeds of whatever kind.

New Scientist Breaking News – ‘Singing’ wings help prevent small-plane stalls

The use of sound to increase the adhesiveness of the wings surface to air. Novel concept.

But can you see the effect if the amp(s) goes out while in low speed mode? Especially if they reduce the size of the wings the full 20+%. Need to make it mechanical and built as an inverse(?) harmonic of wind speed so the vibration increases as surface airflow decreases.

Quite an interesting concept. Makes me suspect some of the buzz produced by insect wings in hover mode are a variant of this concept.

Sea Ice May Be On Increase In The Antarctic: A Phenomenon Due To A Lot Of ‘Hot Air’?

Will be interesting if this does come about. And should cut the ocean level increase a bit. From the article:

“However, findings from our simulations suggest a counterintuitive phenomenon. Some of the melt in the Arctic may be offset by increases in sea ice volume in the Antarctic.”

The Onion | Evangelical Scientists Refute Gravity With New ‘Intelligent Falling’ Theory

Now I am not too sure about the veracity of anything I read on the Onion. So this must be taken with a quite a bit of salt but if it is even close to serious there is a MAJOR problem with this religious scientific movement’s logic.

But then we also have the Cat-licks run by that dude with the big hat over in the Vacuum, and they been around and suppressing logical scientific thought for going on what? 12 to 1500 years… 😉

Boing Boing: DTV: an open source video publishing/viewing/downloading tool

Mac only right now but has a Windoze version coming soon. Downloaded it and tried it but was taking way too much time to get the feeds downloaded. Will try again in a day or two and see if the first big demand slows down a bit. Looks interesting. If its distributed so all of the clients take up some of the load would be faster I think. Course here I am criticizing it and not knowing how it is set up. Need to at least read the readme before mouthing off…
