Got to get more 600 grit sandpaper to finish. Next time will not buy the cheapest but will spend the $ & get one not needing this much work.

An hour and a half of honing the clock pivot burnisher and I’m about half way to having all 4 sides flat. Hands are REAL tired.

Not sure what the bundles of sticks on the sides are for but looks to be an interesting low cost truckbed cam… http://t.co/o1rHScsq

Crawling around on the roof with that much rain coming down is NOT my thing. Hoping I can jack the top of the q-hut back out too.

Will take the roof apart and redo it later when it’s not quite so wet and windy.

Lot of tree bits to clean up all around the place. Think I got the pouring water inside leak taken care of with the sheet of tin.

At least we survived the day. Another large dent in the q-hut and had to put another piece of tin on the roof of the 2 story addition.

Decorated Mud Houses of Tiébélé, Burkina Faso http://t.co/DiZYSFHD And then I see things like this and want to go with wood and clay.

Going to try for a steel frame and do an infill with cordwood, bottles, and cans for the walls. Have about everything needed but the cement.

Got another 10 by 30 foot area to go and can start on digging and setting rock in for the foundation, then bolting steel together.

By , January 26, 2013 11:41 pm

Got dark out there so had an excuse to call it a night, at least from clearing out the privet, briers, and vines as well as piling up rocks.

By , January 26, 2013 11:40 pm

Still digging at the privet, briers, and vines. Getting lots closer though. Almost time to put the blade on the tractor and start leveling.

Having to take frequent sit down breaks.

Been out front clearing more of the area I’m gonna build the work shed in. Still not back to full strength after the long bout with the flu.

Good incentive to get up and get to work.
