MacInDell Part Quatre - The Ruby Goldmine : Gizmodo
“I’ve been lax this morning because the OS X Intel torrent finally downloaded. I approached my computer with apprehension and palpable turgidity—could this be the fabled x86 OS X ISO? Had I found the Grail of legend, the last disk from which Steve Jobs accessed data before he passed from this world into the darkling plain of the superego?”

A good read. ;-)

Greenhouse gas to be stored under sea

Now here is a really brilliant idea. How much energy is going to be expended by doing the seperation and then pumping it into the oil and gas wells?

And no I haven’t done the math but I suspect that some system of reducing the emissions instead of finding a short term bandaide would be the better way to go. Of course the time to do this was in the 50’s or 60’s…

Exxon Denies Fossil Fuels Cause Global Warming

Wednesday, June 15th, 2005

Was reading through The Huffington Post RSS feed and saw the headline Exxon Denies Fossil Fuels Cause Global Warming.

Then a few lines down I get to another bit of Big Gov/Big Oil Biz goodness.

Guess where Philip Cooney is going to work?

Yep that’s right folks, he’s going to work for Exxon… Guess they needed a new science writer that is current with the state of lies about Global Warming.

Can’t help but thinking that it would be interesting to know if he has been getting a pay check from Exxon all along, or if Bush’s handlers were paying him to make all that shit up.
