Boing Boing: Katrina: Astrodome blocks FCC-approved emergency radio (update)
After waiting over 5 days since the radio volunteers received official the official go-ahead from the FCC to build their station, a senior staffer for the Harris County administration of the Astrodome abruptly stamped ‘Denied’ on a piece of paper.

Imagine that! They don’t want the folks they have incarcerated inside to have ANY news. Keep them in the dark and they will be more passive. Let them see just how BAD the gov has screwed up on this one and things just might get out of hand…

My take on this is – Fire that sucker up and run it illegal…

If FEMA wants to run damage control, Mr. Brown should ask the press not to run pictures of him on TV and in the papers. The dead are our countrymen. It’s seeing those responsible running for cover that is indecent.

I think it’s past time for a criminal investigation into Shrub and ALL of his buds and their appointments. These people aren’t competent to run a lemonade stand without supervision and yet they are in charge and destroying our country and so many are passively sitting back and letting them. Time to resume control of our lives and country boys and girls…
