Right now I’m 21 minutes (that leaves an hour to go-not sure when I’ll finish) into it. I’m not buying the whole thing at all, but considering the crap I see from these folks every day, I wouldn’t be completely opposed to the idea that they contracted out having the planes hit the towers, etc. However, I have seen some TV shows about the Pentagon hit (National Geographic was the best one, IIRC) and unless THEY have been bought (NOT National Geographic!!! Quelle horror!) the detail they brought up puts the quietus on a lot of what they are bringing up in “Loose Change” so far. IIRC, they FOUND the engines-what was left of them. As well as other debri, and the path/outline of the plane itself. And a 200-ton plane moving at 400+ miles an hour knocking down light poles without touching the ground doesn’t surprise me, for some reason….and people with little/no training have done some surprising feats of airmanship-he wasn’t landing the plane, he was being a kamikaze. He did pretty well, but it wasn’t moving or firing at him either, like an aircraft carrier would have been in WWII. And finding an old turbojet engine in the Pentagon frankly doesn’t surprise me. They probably found an old muzzle-loading rifle in the burned-out area-did they propose that that was what was used in the hijacking? No, like the engine, it was probably either an exhibit or had been stuck in a closet somewhere…

I will finish watching this, but I remain unconvinced so far. (Only a sixth of the way through, too.) I DO agree that it has worked to the Bush administration’s advantage, though. No doubt about that.

OK, just when was this thing made? I’ve seen film (from security cameras) of the plane hitting the Pentagon. I’m sure this guy will claim it was Photoshopped, and sure, that could be done, hell, you, I, or my daughter could do it, but I still have seen it. Why hasn’t he? I have seen (in more than one place, BTW) information that contradicts just about everything that he is saying. I have no way of confirming or denying ANY of it-I wasn’t there. But the photos he shows are real probative, either. He seems to take a conclusion and work backwards FROM it, rather than take the evidence and work FORWARDS to a conclusion, something that makes me suspicious of ANYONE. If you start with your answer, and then set out to prove it, it colors you thinking. Been there, done that, still do it if I’m not careful….

Oh, the two planes over Washington, the mystery planes. No mystery to me. One of them (the obvious 747) is most likely Looking Glass, the airborne command post. If the FAA even TRIED to order it down, it would probably crash from the pilots ROTFLTAO. The C-130 is the Navy equivalent, whose name escapes me now. It flies around trailing a several mile long wire used to communicate with the ballistic missle subs in case someone nukes the towers in (IIRC) Michigan. Most likely they flew up there to give someone in high command real-time intelligence on WTF was actually going on at the Pentagon because NO ONE was answering the damn phones….

Well, gotta say (having finished it finally-lotta things going on, as usual) that it hangs together well. And, of course, it’s as impossible to really check out as the government’s story. Well, unless I want to get obsessed and start a database of information and start doing a whole bunch of cross-checking. I’m not sure if I want to or not-strike that, I KNOW I don’t WANT to, I’m not sure if I should, if I should invest the emotional capital at this moment. It has paranoid logic going for it-it makes all the other crazy kaka that the administration has done look sane, I’ll give it that. The thing that gets me is, when you murder people, the people doing the murdering eventually get second thougts. Not all of them, to be sure, but to pull off something like this you are talking about a truly ENORMOUS number of people-in the THOUSANDS, at least. I refuse to believe that no one in that group hasn’t had a guilt attack and spilled the beans. Four years, seven months, and 2 days later? Uh-uh, I don’t care if they DID make off with $160 billion in gold, someone would be having nightmares and would find some way to get the news out-it’s just too big.

Another thing, if you are stealing $160 billion in gold, where the Hell do you spend it? Answer: you can’t, any more than you can fence the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is too recognizable, and that much gold (or any reasonable fraction of it) would depress the crap out of the gold market, as well as start a lot of VERY embarassing questions. If so, though, maybe THAT’S why they would bother with the stock market peanuts-I mean, why even bother with $100 million or so, when you have $160 billion, unless the $100 million is going to “get you by” until you can do something with the gold-like in 3 or 4 generations, maybe….

I don’t know-I mean, really, I DON’T KNOW. Part of it, I’m sure, is that I sure as HELL don’t WANT it to be true, terroism is bad enough, this, if true, is MORE than enough reason for American Revolution #2-and you would see the Armed Forces leading it, I wager. Certainly they are getting screwed by it in a very personal way. If it IS true, I would like to meet the sick SOB that came up with it (it is definitely to slick for GWB) and talk with him until the fire ants prove too much for him, if you get my drift….
