For anyone interested in the latest and greatest map with pix it’s located at http://combatranch.technoprimitive.org/wp/map.html.  Be warned if you use Safari or Konqueror that it WILL crash your browser.  Firefox/Seamonkey, Opera, and IE (shutter) all work fine.  No idea what the problem is but suspect it is a Java related bug.  Not sure if it is in my code or the google API but will keep working on it to see if I can figure it out.
