I’m going to have to get with you sometime and let you show me some of the nuts & bolts of PCLinuxOS. Still having some problems with it, mainly related to not having the time/energy to run down the info I want.
Not planning on up/down/sidewaysgrading to Vist-HA! anytime soon…and hope it’s a while before I have to troubleshoot it…

The new version (PCLinuxOS 2007) is due out sometime mid to late Feb from what I am seeing on the forums. Installed the first beta on a friends machine two days ago, dual booting with XP and it went fine, even resizing the xp partition with the liveCD worked like a charm. Just have to remember to defrag the XP install 2 or 3 times from within XP prior to resizing while running the LiveCD PCLinuxOS 2007. Will have to upgrade him to the final but even the beta is so stable on everything I have tried it on so far that I don’t foresee any problems. After installing PCLOS to the new partitions I ran Synaptic software updater and updated to the latest and greatest bug patches. Sucker is fast from the HD! Can hardly wait for the next beta to get out!
Just lost a GREAT (well, a LONG) comment. Suffice it to say I am about to start downloading the beta and try it out.
