@mwp1979 I’ve barbequed it before and as long as you keep it well coated with sauce it tenderizes after about 1.5 to 2 hours. Quite tasty!

@Iron_Spike You might want to look at English Bulldogs. Similar looks but much better personality and quite laid back.

Long afternoon with few sales at Valley. Stopped at the store after work & got a pack of chicken thighs to cook tomorrow. Leftovers tonight.

@mwp1979 Or roast goat, or barbequed goat. And yes I have thought of it the last several times I’ve chased them back into their field.

@mwp1979 Twas a car in the drive outside blowing the horn to get my attention rather than risking getting out and knocking on the door. 🙂

Took brass welding rod & made tails for 4 brass mice paper spikes. At least that’s what they are now. Now to head to Valley Antiques & work.

Come back in, get more coffee, finish fixing breakfast, & get back to webserver setup. Is mostly done but still got to get php xml working.

Get long walking stick & after 10+ minutes running it up and down the fence get stupid critter back through hole in fence neighbor wont fix.

Go out and am told my goat is out. Neighbor has goats but not me. Tell them this and come back in to get dressed to go chase said goat.

Long morning/day & just getting ready to go to work. Working on getting a webserver set up on my test machine when a horn sounds outside.

Works really well too!

Wanted to home serve our websites but with domain & dns costing 32.95 a year EACH the 3 would cost more than the 6.95 a month I’m paying.

Spent another Saturday at Valley Antiques. Got a bit more done in the booth but still got more to get done. Planning on going back tomorrow.

Booth looks better but still got a LOT more to do. Gonna try to get to Pell City tomorrow to work on the booth at The Treasure Chest.

Managed to get home at 5:20 so wasn’t quite as long a day as yesterday turned into. Though it did involve more heavy lifting and real work.

Another long day at Valley Antiques. Went to work on the booth today & ended up helping replace an air conditioner AND resetting the booth.

We’re running a 25% off sale on booth items and I think we need a new look/feel in there. Got some work on a bed I need to finish up too.

Thinking about going to Valley Antiques again today (after working out that all but one day so far this week) and resetting the booth.

Think I managed to get in my upper body workout for the week. Can still move my arms but can tell that they are gonna be sore later on…

As well as cutting 7 to 8 hundred feet of new trail in the woods which took longer and more energy than the road trimming.

Back from my morning walk. Took the pruning shears along and trimmed some of the worst overhanging brush and limbs from the roads.

Second cup of coffee brewing and fixing to get a shower prior to going to work at Valley Antiques. Will be there today and tomorrow 10 to 5.

Not quite 8 am and I’m back from picking blueberries and a 1 mile trek over the hills and through the woods.

Bad weather looks to be to the south east of us and just sitting there for now so am heading back to a cooler area for the nonce.

Got the power back on in here but tis cut off to the other trailer till it’s cool enough for me to get out there and fix the line & pole.

Found that the line had shorted several hundred feet away at one of the storage trailers due to a tree limb falling on the line. 🙁

Came in here from the cooler part of the house to check on the weather to find the power in this part was off.
