I had heard about the price differences before but didn’t realize that they were that much between home and small biz.

   “Home” stuff costs more at Dell than “Small Business” stuff because:
   A. most people don’t know there is a difference.
   B. most that don’t know don’t bother to take advantage of it.
   C. Dell makes more money because of it.

   Any other interpretation of it is faulty, in my eyes. There is exactly one factor in ALL of Dell’s decisions–profit. End of line. This they have done, by turning the PC into a commodity, like a toaster.

   Oh, yes, and trying to make Micheal Dell feel he has outdone Steve Jobs.
