A recent experience in CompUSA led me to write this article. In a nutshell, I was treated about 7 levels above Rude by a sales clerk at a particular CompUSA location.

This dude is funny! I love his way of making sure the store knows they screwed up…

    Great link! I LOVE what he did at the check-out! Ring up $1100.00 worth of stuff, and when asked for payment, send for the asshole clerk and the manager, have the clerk repeat his asshole-of-the-hour remarks, and then have the manager tell the clerk to return the $1100.00 worth of stuff to the shelves, he ain’t going to buy from a place that treats him like that! Great! And then send a letter and copy of the $300.00 cheaper receipt from a competitor! Even a CompUSA manager can figure out what THAT means…..

    As for his experience at Fry’s (why can’t WE get a Fry’s?) I have to agree with the first poster on his blog–is that Fry’s policy to train their people that way, or is he just blessed with an uber-Linux geek at that store. Either way, lucky him……
