There has got to be something more to this. I just can’t believe that a contractor poured that thin a layer of cement with no rebar or rewire in it as a garage floor without filling the cistern in first.

    How about the contractor just a few miles from here, over in Choccolocco, I think, that made a CHIMNEY out of PLYWOOD, and didn’t bother to tell the people he made it for NOT to make a fire in it. They did….anyone care to write the end to this tale? Yes, he eventually went to prison. No, he did not have enough resources/insurance to cover their losses. (Insurance companies have more sense than to insure/bond people like HIM, even if people out there will hire people like that!) Never underestimate the stupidity/greed/breakdown of communication/incompetence possible in a contracting situation, be it building or any other kind…..Remember the Novell server sheetrocked up in the wall for 4 years?
