Ain’t this just a repackaged/rethought sterno? Course this is made from sugar cane and sterno was made from wood products or at least used gelled wood alcohol if the failing memory holds at all.

Looks interesting where ever the idea came from.

Interesting to say the least. Never stopped to think about the shear amount of trash generated in college bathrooms before. Sounds like they are getting a handle on the problems. I would like to try one of the electric hand dryers that actually work.

Can’t remember if I have noted this page/site before or now. Have built a modified version of this using a piece of bandsaw blade that works but not near as well as I suspect the one with teeth on one side and scrapper on the other so and am gonna build another one strictly according to plans. Now to find a non rotten pallet so I can get a piece of seasoned oak to turn it out of.
