Birdie Nest Golf Ball Warmers
—-
Let me start off by saying that this is a site/page that I have been working on for a customer.
Now that that is out of the way, take a look and let me know what you think. I will have more and better pictures when the next batch comes in.
Planning on adding a page on actual use with pix and graphs and such like too.
Back to the hunt…
Flammable is f-l-a-m-m-a-b-l-e, not f-la-m-e-a-b-l-e.
“slow even heat” needs a comma between “slow” and “even”, at least to my eyes/judgement.
Other than those admittedly nit-picky things, looks good! What chemical reaction does it use, iron oxidation? And, while I have never prefered cold balls to warm balls, how do warm balls fly farther? Sloshing actions of the liquid centers? (Looking back on that last sentence—don’t even want to go there…..)
Done and done.
Thanks. Pulled it out of my (whereever) and then refined it and what little I have gotten from the owner and Bob. Mostly extrapolated from what they have talked about. Will probably change the entire site soon…
Not sure but I suspect its that or calcium carbonate (?). The heat packs are supplied by the same co that makes the hot hands and hot feet packs.
The general idea is that a ball in the summer will go further than the same ball in the winter therefore I would assume the ball is harder in the winter and less bouncy. This case/heat pack get the balls up to 80 degrees or more and give more bounce. Or so I have been told. We are susposed to get some more info on temp and distance but haven’t seen it yet.
