Gambas – Gambas Almost Means Basic

Interesting looking programming environment. Just saw a reference in TiraEcol, the comic that I posted a link to earlier today, and looked it up. Turns out that PCLOS has it in the package manager so have installed it. Now to see if I can figure it out and then see if I remember ANYTHING about programing in BASIC.

   So, it’s in PCLinuxOS package manager? Cool! I must install it and see what happens. I must admit to a certain affection (and a LOT of aggravation) toward Visual Basic-for some things, it’s just so easy and neat to set up quickly. Of course, the coding is somewhat, shall we say, screwed up, but that’s to be expected in a MS product….
