Friday one more time
Got out on the tractor and moved Tim’s trailer into it’s resting place. Jacked it into some kind of level and blocked and shimmed it into position. Ran the cord for power and he spent a bit cleaning it out.
Did much more, including dragging another power pole across the creek beside a cedar tree that has been down for 12+ years now, to build a foot bridge from. Getting closer. It looks like the beavers have moved back upstream since the water level has come back up. There are dams that they haven’t repaired in 3 days now and their ponds are clear to the bottom so something has happened to them. Will have to keep a watch this weekend.
Game tomorrow. Big game. Gonna call it an early night to try to get ready for it. Will try to catch up and such after this is over. Till the morrow.
Gotta watch those beavers–you never know when they will pounce. Hmm, “Pouncing Beavers”, I wonder if anyone has every used that title before…I sure ain’t gonna Google it, that’s certain. 😎
Sounds like a productive day. Mine was too, relatively. Got some stuff done, made progress on others, and discovered a problem that I will have to rectify. Typical day. Printer problem I have been working on this week seems to be cured (knocking wood), except for a little cleanup activity that I am waiting on information for. Virtual printer that I have to reinstall (to capture information from a particular application), and I couldn’t find a thing on the website about how to reinstall it. Couple of things about how to install the program without it, but nothing I could find about reinstallation. Hoping I don’t have to uninstall/reinstall the entire app, but maybe the good folks will get back to me in re my e-mail and give me the info I need.
Am about to go deliver a computer to my uncle that I worked on, some minor upgrades. It seems to be working fine now, have it on dial-up on the other port of the KVM right now. Not bad, for dial-up out here (32 kps) but it is indeed still dial-up. We’ll see how it does out at his place. He’s even further in the country than I am (no cable, of course no DSL), and the phone lines frankly suck out there. 28.8 is about average there, sometimes less. Gotta figure out the plan for the day and then get going. Have a good one.
