Need to sell some of the larger items so we can move around again. Anyway, tis late and I need to hit the sack, so till tomorrow… 😉

Whole place is a bit of a mess right now as with the additional 2 truckloads of stuff have really filled it up to overflowing.

Long day is done. Hoping to get more done tomorrow, including getting some of the shelving put up in the work room in the back.

Gonna try again tomorrow to get more done on the table. Got carpet/upholstery cleaner on the way home today to clean the recliner tomorrow.

But considering the 12+ totes of small stuff we got much progress has been made. Got a fair amount of the broken stuff fixed and priced.

Long day almost done. Got most of the rest of the stuff from the estate sale priced and put out today. Still got +-200 pieces left to price.

Got a floor lamp/table that I am gonna have to repaint parts of. May end up redoing the entire table part but would rather fix whats there.

Fixed several other small pieces today. Am getting faster at putting stuff back into working and salable shape. Also better at painting.

Got stain at WW tonight to redo it. Will start stripping it tomorrow. The jewelery case I reglued Saturday worked out ok. Reassembled today.

Got about 2/3rds of the stuff we took up at least unboxed. Still got 3 or 4 totes to open and go through. Table top glued up fine.

Parts so small that I can’t properly see them even with my magnifiers on. Will have to have more magnification to properly work on it.

Twas a long day. Ended up getting home about 8:30 pm. Have done supper and then took my first video ipod apart.

Truck loaded. Or as much as is getting done tonight. Gonna browse a bit longer then hit the sack. Hoping we get part of it put up tomorrow.

Long Sunday: Went to what was supposed to be a estate sale this morning in Glencoe but was just junk and wet books…

Supper done and started loading the truck with totes of STUFF. Most of which we have NO idea what is in. Unpacking is kinda like Christmas.

Should be about ready to clean/scrape the top surfaces off, and recoat in the morning. One more joint to reglue and is ready to reassemble.

double decker glass topped table (among other stuff) to Piedmont and unloaded it. The double decker had damage which I started repair on.

Was a weird scene for a bit but made a few bucks back and tipped the folks that helped us pack it all up. Took a recliner, end table, and

Got a lot of good stuff and handed out a few business cards to folks that bought stuff from us after we bought it from the auction folks.

And taking stuff apart to get it in the truck, but we made it. Got 1 load here which we are slowly going through, sorting, and repacking.

Headed to the estate sale in Anniston and ended up buying all the outside stuff again. Took 2 trips to get it all with an unload here.

Went to the Flamingo and Bill’s where we got a couple of things and then walked into about 500 comic books in two different booths.

Home finally! The “estate” sale in Gadsden/Glenco wasn’t. Twas some idiot that decided to call a crappy yard sale such. We went, saw, left.

Coffee is done so time to shut the computer down, eat and run north east to the store. Back this evening weather permitting.

Which listening to the weather radio and looking at the radar is most likely not gonna happen as we seem to be in the watch area.

Overslept after the wakeful bit around 3am. Waiting for coffee to perk then will eat and run for the store. Hoping for a safe weather day.

Ah, well tis over now so time to return to the arms of Morpheus for another few hours. Or at least till the next storm wakes us up… 😉

Did not like the sound of some of the winds that went along with some of the patch that just passed.

Hoping this is the worst we will see, or not see as other than the lightening pitch dark at present.

Nasty bit of weather just passing. Had hail, lots of fireworks, and torrential rain with it. Good for a early morning wake up at the least.

Think I am gonna call it an early night. Type at y’all in the am folks… 😉

One piece is imperial carnival glass that I am gonna have a hard time selling so will be priced HIGH. 😉

Fair amount of glass, including several of depression glass and a couple of really nice (and expensive) pieces of carnival glass.

Need to get more of the books out and priced too. Guess tis time to hit the shower and get the day started. Back in the evening folks. 😉

Had been glued and nailed and glue had failed. Used nail set to drive nails out the other side to where I could grip and pull them out.

Got some stain/finish and hope to get the small table ready to go. Figured out how to get the last bits apart so they can be glued.

Not sure what the day will bring but coffee is done and being consumed. Have several projects started and hoping to get some finished.

Still got a pile of blanks to go. Think I got 12 blanks out of that piece of rod so guess there are 8 more that I’ll make.

Using pliers now rather than just fingers and tis working out better for some reason. Got 4 more without much white on them.

As well as getting burned fingers… 🙁

Well got 8 somewhat usable ones. Still getting white overheated areas on them but by holding them over the HOT stove eye am getting closer.

Several folks seem to use heat guns which I don’t have and others say hair driers are not hot enough.

Well can use the torch to bend the stuff but causes it to turn white. Got a pot of water on the stove heating to see if it will bend at 212.

Need to make 16 of them, all the same. Should be interesting. And educational. And a pain in the arse… 🙁

Gotta figure out how to bend 1/4 inch Plexiglas/acrylic/some kind of clear plastic rods into S hooks to use to hang punch cups on a bowl.

Cooking the cheese toast now. Only thing left is to melt the cheese on the chicken after the toast is done. Then supper is served… 😉

Day somewhat over. At least the working hard on my feet part. Cooking supper and browsing on the computer now. Somewhat at the same time.

Saturday and done: Just another day of more of the same. Cleaning, fixing, pricing, shelving, moving stuff around…

Another lousy day for sales. Got some stuff done and lots moved around. Slowly getting it into shape. Just gotta get folks in buying stuff.
