than adding more long runs of ethernet cabling. This way I can just add a short wire right to the local hub.

Added another wireless router/ethernet hub to the setup here at the compound. Since I am working on equipment in the trailer tis easier

Looks like Scribe Fire has a few bugs with it’s preview system. Posted a link to the non-existent post to my twitter account. 🙁

Got it back together and it works. Mostly. Windblows can’t find a system file so am now running the hard drive test from bios.

Now to put the damn thing back together enough to see if it will actually work or if this was all for naught…

Did the soldering but turned out the problem was the ground wiper in the jack. Ended up making a tool to bend it back into shape.

it fell off a desk and got jerked to a stop by the power cable. Hard drive works so the guy’s data is intact. Checked that first.

Will get out the soldering iron and try a bit of soldering around the power connector just in case that will fix it as it was working before

Don’t know why I keep working on laptops. Must just like pain. Just got a HP apart (finally) and looks like a toasted motherboard.

And done. With that truckload anyway. Still got two more similar loads outside to take apart and haul home. + lots more inside.

Hope we will be able to move tomorrow but am making no bets either way…

About 2/3’s of the truck is empty now. Taking another short break, then back out to finish. Cat is out there pounding away while I rest.

Got a few cleaned prior to getting too hot and having to take a break. Will go back and try to finish it here in a few minutes.

under cover cleared for the stand to sit. It also has a lower rail to hold the cleaned shorter boards up off the ground.

Got some of the area cleared with the sling blade. A metal stand built to support the boards while cleaning the nails out and an area

Which should take care of about half of it. Will most likely build more book shelves with the rest. Time to find a cold adult beverage.

MUCH closer than we were. Then will be time to decide what we’re gonna do with it. Figure I’ll panel and put up shelving in the back room.

Cat and I got about half the pile inside cleaned and loaded on the trailer. Hoping to get the rest cleaned tomorrow or the next day.

Ended up taking the stuff outside apart and piling the nail laden boards in the truck as the sun on the asphalt & concrete was blistering.

Am exhausted but still have the pile in the back of the truck to unload and remove nails from.

Need another shower now after spending the heat of the day in the warehouse and outside in the sun while cleaning lumber.

Guess I’ll do the shower number and then see if I’m gonna be up to it. Till later…

Trying to get up the energy to head to Piedmont and start removing nails from the huge pile of lumber I need to clean to bring home.
