For now am gonna do some reading and call it an early night, so till later, folks… 😉

Which has REALLY helped the kitchen stay warmer. May try get out in the morning and cut some more of the wood up. Or may not. Will see.

with fan blowing does much better than last year. Course I closed off the opening to the front of the Q-hut the other day too.

So we are around 850 or so now but still way over what it is rated to do. Woodburner handles it fine, and with the added electric

our place. It’s rated to heat 250 sq feet and we are heating close to a 1000 sq feet. Cat closed her office off which is 144 sq ft.

Unlike the last several nights where I let it go out to conserve wood. The new electric heater is doing a fair job but is too small for

But once the firebox got up good and hot tis putting out a very nice heat. And we have enough wood to keep it going all night.

Came back to the domicile and cut, then split one of the cedar logs. Brought it inside and started a fire. Took a bit to dry and thaw.

Came back down the hill and stopped to get a fallen limb from a big white oak. Then to the pile of cedar. Loaded it all on the trailer.

Split what I could around branches and such knots that just won’t split. It’ll have to dry out for a few days to burn very well.

several years now. Still about 25 feet of it left. Red oak about 24 inches in diameter where I am cutting now. Cut 4 rounds off of it.

And off we went. Got the stuff from the spillway and then headed up the valley by the beaver swamp to a tree I have been cutting on for

Moved it a few feet, and then finished unloading the stuff from it that I had started doing last Sunday. Cat got the chain saw and fluids.

Tried to crank it and it fired right up. Removed the charger, closed the hood and came to the house to get the trailer. Hooked to it.

No fuel in fuel filter. Turned the fuel back off and took the filter apart and cleaned it out. Reassembled it and had fuel flow.
