Then went and split 3 wheelbarrows of red oak, and moved it to the drying area. Wood fire is feeling good tonight.

Got it going and went to the woods. Got 4 wheelbarrows of cedar cut, loaded, hauled to the compound, split and stacked.

Old chain was 5+ years old and had about 1/32″ of usable teeth left on some of the chain. New one was more than I needed to spend but…

Called Warren Ace Hardware in Jacksonville and they had a hose for less than e-Bay was getting. :-) Went and got one. And a new chain.

Was due to the 10% alcohol in the fuel now. Rubber hose was swollen and soft. Had heard about the problem but had not seen it till now. :-(

After a teardown found the fuel line leaking where it entered the fuel tank. If the tank was half full+ and on its side fuel came out.

Set the saw upright (It was still lying on it’s side from being fueled.) and the leak stopped.

As I went to close the oil container I heard something. Looked down and saw fuel dripping from the saw onto some leaves. NOT GOOD.

After lunch went to the barn and spent some quality time cleaning the chain saw. Finished the cleaning & adjustments and added fuel and oil.
