MDI – The air car – lifestyle, economy, ecology – Homepage

If this is real (and i wonder?) it’s almost too good to be true. A roughly $11,000 air powered car that will travel at up to 68 mph and has a range of 124 miles on a charge. 2 minutes at a garage air pump or 2 to 3 hours on a 220 v connection.

This is just weird. French though. Which may explain it. 😉

Green Power from Chicken Litter

This is good news for both the power companies as well as the poultry producers.

I’d like to see small farm sized co-generation setups for all types of livestock waste disposal.

edgeblur’s surfACE

Cool product. In a couple of senses…

Out of box thinking on the design. Not sure about the materials. The wings (side supports?) look like they are bending quite a bit in the picture.

Back up again

By , July 15, 2005 12:55 pm

Had all the sites go down again this morning. Same database problem as yesterday. Went to the mySQL site and looked it up and was throwing a device out of space code. The host got back to me a bit later and said that the /tmp directory was full as they were doing an account restore. I’ll buy that once in a while. Twice in two days is a bit much. Especially as the outage today was over an hour and closer to two. Do not like that. Especially as I am working on adding another 2 sites to the group…

Did Apple change the signal strength scale with AirPort 4.2?

I’d like to know this too before I install this update. Getting more and more skittish about apple updates that turn into downgrades that add more drm restrictions…

Slashdot | Unsealed SCO Email Reveals Linux Code is Clean

So they knew all along. I had suspected that but am very surprised to find it in unsealed court documents. Guess we now know why they were sealed…

I hope this puts Daryl’s ass in a sling. Maybe there will be a cozy cell waiting somewhere for this SOB that has put on this media circus and wasted all the courts time and taxpayers money on this frivolous lawsuit that they knew was bullshit! As did most of the linux community but I just kept waiting for them to produce something anyway.
