But am still feeling quite lazy and disinclined to do so. More into watching glue dry.

Found plans for a portable work bench that I am gonna see about building one similar to. Need to go out and see if I can round up the bits.

Home, after a long day with little accomplished. Got a laptop taken apart and bits that are now glued together drying.

Need to be doing something other than staring at the computer but am just not inclined to do so.

After spending Sunday and Monday out hunting a small = to or < 3″ bench vise, found one at Tractor Supply Monday evening for about $20.

Sitting in Piedmont listening to the wind howl through the cracks and slam doors.

Should have realized it but after downloading and trying to run it turns out that Libre Office won’t work on Mac G4 machines. 🙁

Got a yard sale to set up at Saturday, Oct, 23, out at Valley Antiques, so may just leave the tables and tent in the truck till then.

Truck is about half unpacked, but the bits that are left can stay there for a while without being in the way.

Well, shelves didn’t get done. Chair is still waiting the location of some screws that I KNOW I have but cannot find.

First lunch and then will see about shelves.

Thinking I should build some shelves in the back room for the totes so they can be stored in an orderly manner rather than piled everywhere.

And install and it should be a chair again rather than an obstacle to navigate around.

Trying to get the repairs finished on a chair that has been sitting in the way for several months. Got a couple of more screws to find.

Been clearing out and cleaning up a bit here at the compound today, to try to get the stuff in the truck inside and still be able to move.

Festival was a success! For us anyway, as we had cheap items for sale. Those with nothing but high priced stuff didn’t do near as well.

Some really nice Native American style pottery. Knife makers, and lots more! So come on out and spend the day. Lotta stuff going on!

Two different flint nappers. One is a vendor that has some wonderful stuff for sale. The other is a Forrest Ranger that gives demos.

There’s a food vendor that has buffalo burgers, Indian hominy, and fry bread among other things. Good stuff!

And by local I mean local to Calhoun County, Alabama. The museum, demos, and vendors are well worth a few mile drive.

Long day again at the Janney Furnace Indian festival http://janneyfurnace.org/events.html. If you’re local come on out tomorrow!

Index of ftp://linuxfreedom.com/: Index of ftp://linuxfreedom.com/.
Pile of linux distros ready to download.

Running updates one more time to see if it got them all. And no it didn’t. Doing the XP SP3 thing now…

Well tried to reset the location from home to Piedmont but looks like it now thinks I’m in Rainbow City???

Another 97.9 mb of updates being downloaded. That should really speed the machine up… 🙁

Going to try puppy linux on it in a few just to see how much faster it is on 512 mb ram than XP.

Almost got the office computer updated. Doing a virus scan now while the rest of the updates are downloading.

At long last have internet at the store in Piedmont! And there was great rejoicing! And wasting of time… 😉

ROFLMAO!!!

than adding more long runs of ethernet cabling. This way I can just add a short wire right to the local hub.

Added another wireless router/ethernet hub to the setup here at the compound. Since I am working on equipment in the trailer tis easier
