Back from out and about. Supper is cooking/warming. Fire is going. Am somewhere over tired out. Got the trailer moved so day is done.

Looks like Google Voice is restricted to the x86 platform on Linux. 🙁 So no phone in or out from this machine.

Need to see if google voice will work. If so may be moving my usage to that instead of having to use a separate program to call.

And am now posting from the iBook via wireless. So mostly success! Don’t think Skype is working on the ppc platform yet which is a pain.

Getting closer on the iBook. Doing a reboot to see if I have now gotten the wireless working.

iBook is now rebooting! Will see if it lives soon…

Still need to get the tractor out and move the trailer to the other entrance so it can be gotten to with a truck. Where it is now = no way.

Rain started just as I was finishing unloading the building wood from the borrowed trailer. Hoping it will let up later in the afternoon.

As much firewood gathered as is gonna get done today. Hoping it’s enough for the next few rainy days.

Trailer (first one) unloaded. Wood (building stuff) mostly stacked and under cover. iBook still installing. Lunch cooking and heating.

Will see what my energy holds out for.

Then go and cut some firewood and bring it back to the compound to split. Need to take some time later to run out to Valley Antiques.

Then to crank the tractor and move the trailer to the other entrance. Next on the gotta do list is to unload the OTHER trailer.

Still installing… Got about a third of the trailer of wood unloaded and stacked. Hoping to get it all done before noon.

Need to get off the arse and be out doing stuff, but was hoping to get the iBook done first. Will give it another few minutes and see.

Still installing. Seems to be a bunch of Gnome stuff getting put in that I didn’t expect. Guess it’s gotta be there for all to work right.

Trying to decide if I want to continue cleaning and moving things around or just veg for a while.

Well, food has been cooked and eaten.

Now to start with the moving everything around to get into winter mode again.

Fire is going and starting to warm the place up a bit. Tis so nice to be able to sit in front of an open fire inside again. 😉

Then put in the inside pipe. Shovelled out the remains of last seasons fire and taking a quick break. Fixing to go and light the first fire.

Got all the outside stuff finished up, then came inside and got back to clearing the piles from around the stove. Got enough cleared.

And back home. Put the pipe together and after finding and sharpening a drill bit put holes in it and added screws, then got it put up.

Then on to Lowe’s to find their prices were higher by several $$$ per stick on the flue pipe. So back to TS where we got 3 pieces.

Put a couple of signs up for Marcia, then talked to and traded some stuff with Kenny and Cyndi. Went by Tractor Supply and checked prices.

Went to estate sale. Cat got a few things, after a quick walk through I sat in the truck. Then to Valley Antiques and finished pricing.

Right in the middle of the sequential vortex from hell. Got to do about a hundred things in order to get another hundred done. 🙁

Not looking forward to that this year at all. Tis gonna be a really big job. But tis that or spend more than we make on fuel for heat.

Tis that time of year to move the sleeping quarters upstairs and office into the area by the heater.

Gonna have to go to the big box store and get some more flue pipe. Looking like we need another 4 or 5 sections to get heat back in here.

Been out clearing brush so I can get to the flue for the wood stove. Got it to where I can see what needs to be done now anyway.

Hoping to get the wood stove somewhat installed/reinstalled tomorrow. Then can start gathering wood for the winter.

Got food in the microwave reheating for supper. Imported Harp Lager in glass in front of me. Tis cool in here but not too bad.

Will try to get out there tomorrow and see what’s left. Did a fair amount at the store in Piedmont today work wise but little business wise.

Tis at least one estate sale we are thinking about going and checking on if time allows. Guess I need to get off here and head out. Later…

Doesn’t open till 10 so gonna do a couple of other things, then go by and price and rearrange stuff before heading to Piedmont.

Getting a late start today. Got another load of stuff moved to Valley Antiques yesterday but twas late and didn’t get it priced.

Rent at Valley wasn’t as bad as I though it would be for last month. Hope we do much better this month. Would be nice to make a profit…

I’m hoping to get enough room cleared at Piedmont to put up a Christmas tree and display of ornaments and assorted such like stuff.

Was hoping to get the china cabinet moved out there too but time didn’t work out so will try to move that and some other stuff out tomorrow.

Been a day. And a long one too. Just getting in from Valley Antiques. Took a new display case and a bunch of glass out and got it set up.

Was hoping to get the china cabinet moved out there too but time didn’t work out so will try to move that and some other stuff out tomorrow.

Been a day. And a long one too. Just getting in from Valley Antiques. Took a new display case and a bunch of glass out and got it set up.

Back from trip to the folks, Tractor Supply, The Dollar Tree, and WW. In which WW was (as usual) the most irritating and unfruitful…

Well, lunch has been fixed and consumed. Showers finished. Trying to figure what to get done prior to dark thirty. For now heading to WW.

Not that there isn’t a bunch of stuff that’s calling at me to get done but am trying to ignore it all… 😉

Didn’t get up till 10:30 am. Have now eaten breakfast and unloaded the truck. Not sure if I’m gonna do much more today as am still tired.

Supper should be ready so till later folks…

Learned a few things, and saw some stuff we can make to sell that will fit with what we are already doing, so was well worth the trip.

We made a few bucks but not near as much as we had hoped. Suspect we will get an invite to the juried show in the spring from it though.

Alabama. Got to Jacksonville and went by WW for food and such. Then came home. Supper should be ready in about 2 minutes.

Was dark by the time we got back into

Will know next time what setup starts at 6 am really means… Got set up and started the day by around 9. Started tearing down about 5:30.

Twas a REAL LONG day. Left out about 5 am. Got there about 7:20 am their time. Nobody showed up for another 20 minutes.

Guess I have procrastinated enough so gonna go and see what I can put together for supper.

4 am is too early for me to be thinking about what needs to be done to get gone so am gonna lay out clothes and such tonight too.

Still got to get food done for supper tonight and whatever we are taking for eats tomorrow. Gonna go ahead and pack the cooler tonight.

Google says that it should take an hour and 7 minutes to get from here to there, and that’s going through Centre.

Heading out between 4 and 5 am our time to try to get there by around 7 at the latest their time. Setup ends at 8:30 so should make it fine.

Piles of crap loaded into the truck. Hope we got everything that needs to go with us tomorrow to the Cave Spring street fair.

And now to bed to try to rest. Think I still have a fever. Should be interesting dreams if so…

Clamped it into the hand vise after cutting it out and used a steel brush to clean the oxidation off. Vise works SO much better holding it.

Had to try out the tools I made tonight so spent a few minutes cutting out an arrowhead of copper on the bench pin. Works great!

Which also fits in my 3″ bench vise. Think I have done all I am gonna do tonight other than read a little more. So till the morrow… 😉

Went with making marks on the wood and just following the lines. Worked pretty good. Made a bench pin for cutting and filing items on.

Moved the band saw into the Q-hut Spent some time trying some adjustments to get it cutting straight, and failed.

Did manage to reopen the cut on my thumb but it seems to have quit bleeding again now. Think I am gonna do a bit more reading.

With the new 3″ metal bench vise, it works great for holding small pieces for finishing, filing, or whatever, without scarring soft metal.

Got the scroll saw off the shelf and after finding a piece of hard wood from a pallet, cut out a small wooden hand vise.

Think my fever is back along with the dizzies. Gonna do the couch thing with a book for a while longer. Till later…

Of the very sharp knife. After putting side of thumb back in place and taping it up, finished preping and cooking food stuffs and eating.

Decided on eggs and hash browns. Washed and peeled potatoes, then started slicing them. Got nearly done when my thumb got in the way.

Read a bit, then decided to fix something to eat as stomach was making noises and complaining about lack of food.

For now am gonna take some more time on the couch reading. Till later, folks…

Gonna try to get through the boxes and sort stuff out after while. Will try to not worry about it either way it goes.

Had hoped to have things ready today so we could pack it up tomorrow after work and be done except for the early morning drive over.

Right now am not sure if we will be up to the trip to Cave Spring to do the street festival on Saturday.

Need to get to the store to pick up a few things but think I am gonna put it off till the morrow and hope I am better/well.

Didn’t make it to work today. Seem to be on the mend now but this morning was still running a fever & didn’t feel up to the 20 mile drive.

Don’t think the sinus problems are helping either. Think it’s time to hit the sack and see how the head is in the morning.

Trying to make sense of linking/knitting chain maile. Can almost get my head wrapped around it and then it goes haywire again.

Seem to have come down with a sinus infection since morning. Hoping it will go away as quickly as it showed up.

Looks like another very nothing day in Piedmont. Have had nothing but sales calls on the phone and I have talked real bad to them.
