Where Babies Come From in Germany
Where Babies Come From in Germany
This seems to be a childrens book that has been scanned and put online. Shows just what the title says. Actually not limited to Germany. Probably not safe for work and most of the tight assed folks I know around here wouldn’t let their kids see it either but is an interesting look at another (non US of A) culture.

Hard drive prices so low I have a hard time beleving they are new. With free shipping on most of the ones I looked at. This is Fry’s Electronics online. They have a store in Georga now too.

Guess the title and link say it all. Interesting site. Good articles. Well worth the time.

Yea that’s right, we need MORE restrictions and laws. Actually what needs to happen is to get rid of the BSA asshats. Second best thing is to move to linux or unix and tell them to go piss up a rope should they decide to check you.

This may be just what I have been needing to get networking at the other trailer about 600 feet away from here. Now to see where it can be found and what OS’s it will work with.

Must be Technorati screwed up somewhere. I’m posting this crap to give it something to get a bite on if it ever does catch on …
Technorati is still being a pain
Just tried to send a note to support and had their system kick me to search. So tried again and it seems to have gotten through. Still not indexing this site.
Went to the WordPress site and did a search on this problem and they don’t show any posts since April but the ones there say that this is most likely a problem with Technorati so guess I will wait and see if they answer the email and then go from there.
Updated and Technorati still not working right
Now got wordpress 2.0.4 and as of just now Technorati is still not showing my new posts. I must not be holding my mouth right or something.
Back and hoping nothing is broken
Looks good from this end. Hoping that it all stays together. Still using my original modified layout. Plan to modify the new layout a bit and switch over to that but twill come as it can.
If you have problems with the site let me know in the comments here.
Thanks,
Dave
upgrade in progress
Stuff may break so if it looks funny(er) than usual tis probably just I.

From what I read our iBooks are not involved in the recall though I plan to keep a close eye on this.

On weekend war and yellow jackets…
The August Airsoft game is history with only whelps, cuts, scrapes, bruses, poison ivy, poison oak, mosquito bites, chigger bites, and with me at least the lingering memory of 29 yellow jacket stings to remember it by.
The games had 20 players and went from about 3 pm to around midnight. Players came from Huntsville (7), Birmingham (1), Anniston (5), Ashville (1), Pell City (2) (all in Alabama), and Pennsicola Flordia (4). Broken weapons were the rule of the day! Toasted batteries, stripped gears, blown fuses and leaking gas valves were some of the fun highlights. 🙁
Appletinnes and cigars were enjoyied after setting up camp on Friday evening thanks to Lord Leatherhead.
During the games gallons of water and other liquids were consumed.
Thursday afternoon I decided to bushhog the main camping and playing areas and after getting that done started cutting in the dry lakebed. Was finishing up the last row when the little bastards got me. I suspect that there were quite a few that were killed by the bush hog and that the odor of those were what cause the others to attack with such vigor. They got me on the face, hands, arms, head and back. Hands and face were the worse but as of today (sunday) almost all the swelling and soreness is gone. Total of 29 swellings were counted. Bill counted 12 in one area on my back and under my right arm. Pics of my face are coming as soon as I can get them from Cat.
And now that it is Friday of the following week. I just found this in the saved instead of published bin and will now try once again to hit publish…
Making headway
I think. Maybe.
Anyway, Bill, Cat, and I got Cat’s old 21 foot camper/trailer moved to a new site across the creek to use as a kitchen and office. Planning on adding some wood and caulk and tarps to make 2 – 10 x 20 patios, one on either side. We are gonna add the tarps and other things today (Friday), or that’s the plan. Hoping to get the wasps out of the camper and start cleaning and moving stuff as needed as soon as it starts cooling off some.
Plan is to cook supper for the pickup game Saturday night. Will be buffet style with a single donation for all you can eat. Basic menu is looking like: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Pork or Beef Roast, Bread, Buns, Condiments, Baked beans, Potato Onion Pepper Baked dish, Chips, and whatever else. Drinks will be sodas, tea, and maybe coffee.
Now if I just have the energy to get some more done…
