The Adventures of Accordion Guy in the 21st Century :: Joey deVilla’s Weblog :: Bike
Joey has a cool looking bike! Wish we had roads out here that were more conducive to bike riding. I want to hit the links and read the stuff Duff has written about life as a Bike Courier too.
TidBITS: Getting Better AirPlay
Good article on iPods and getting the music to the speakers.
GoodPage
This one I don’t want to try. I may do so in spite of my misgivings but something tells me to let others try and evaluate it and save the $150 that it costs. Free 30 day trial. Not saying that there is anything wrong with the product. Just would rather have a support forum that I can talk to others about both good and bad things concerning a product before I plunk down that kind (or any for that matter) of money on a piece of software. When will Mac orientated software companies figure this out? Surely I’m not the only Mac user that feels this way…
PTHPasteboard
Cool little app. Gonna have to get to know it better. Tried two or three of the multiple clipboard programs but none of them so far have worked like I want them to (like linux)…

“Artificial light illuminates our lives, allowing us to work or play through the night. But, we toy with our body clocks at severe risk to our wellbeing”
Interesting article. And not the first time I have seen most of this info. Does make some kind of sense. Same kind of thing that causes seasonal depression with the lack of natural light in fall and winter.
Cool bike. And interesting mods!
Xebece Home
Xebece is a multipurpose tool for information visualization and organization.
Looks interesting. Not sure I have a use for it but not sure I don’t either.
Online presence blossoms in classified ad industry – Mar. 20, 2005
I keep wondering if there isn’t a way to do a geographic based ad or auction. Have had thoughts on and off for a while on this but never seem to make the time to do anything about it.
But I suspect that the (print) newspaper is dead, no matter how much they moan and try to get laws passed to hold back the sands of change…
Simple USB to IDE Adapter : Gizmodo
Looks like a great idea. But the site that the article links to is in Japanese so I can’t see just how much this little gem will set you (me) back. But the part that is in english says Windows so Mac and Linux fans may be left out at least for now.
the Walrus said, to speak of things to come. Of sealing wax, and sailing ships, and eyes closing on their own.
Say goodnight, Gracie…
iwascoding.com
From the site:
“GarageSale is a client application for the eBay online auction system. It allows Mac OS X users to create auctions quickly using an intuitive mac-like interface, integrates with iPhoto and offers WYSIWYG text editing.”
Looks interesting. Not sure it would be worth it but we do have a load of stuff that needs to be sold…
Netpbm home page
I have been looking for a way to join 2 jpegs side by side without having to open them both and then make a new file and paste them into. This batch of programs has a program that does it but is going to take some shell or perl scripting to do what I want done. and gotta convert to another graphics format and back again. gotta be an easier way…
