Tuesday morn

My mom called about 9 to tell me that my dad was out of surgery. He has prostrate cancer and has already had it cut out once. This time they inserted radioactive pellets that are susposed to cause things to shrink. He came through fine. Has to stay in the hospital till he pees good and they see that nothing is gonna come back out that way then will come home.

    I didn’t know that. Hope things go OK. Will be praying for him.

    So far so good. Put well over a hundred of the radioactive seed in. Says that there is a bit of discomfort (!) but was all done with needles so not a lot of healing to do.

    At least now he quits having to take the hormone shots so the hot flashes will stop… :-)
