Friday morn and cold as hell here!
Got down to 24.8 here last night. Not sure what time. Was at 25.2 at 6:15 when I got the fire going and came up to look. Inside was 48.6. 9:06 and we are at 35.4 outside and 64.8 inside.
Heater works fine, just not the way I am used to one working. No instant heat. Takes a while for the firebrick to heat up. Have the top at 150 now. The temp in the stack of brick on top is over 160 at the front and haven’t tested around back. Need to see if herrington would loan or sell me the temp gun. If not need to just buy one.
Rethinking the heater bell a bit.

Had me wondering if I had dropped a few days there….it’s the holiday season (don’t bust my balls about this “Merry Christmas!” s**t) and it’s just TOO damn easy to lose track of what day it is….I had to look at the date, the post date, and a calendar, then actually RTFP to be sure WTF was going on….always interesting around here…..
AND, have you noticed, that when you preview the comment, it actually doesn’t LOOK that much like it will when you post it….I guess maybe I just need a big glass of water, my medicine, and to sit on something other than that hard-ass (harder than MY ass, that’s for sure!) plastic chair I sat on all day today for that training session…..
