New Scientist Breaking News – Bubonic plague strikes Los Angeles woman

It is the first human case of plague in the county since 1984. But about 10 to 15 people per year contract the disease in the US, usually in rural places, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

And the above makes sense how? Me thinks someone failed to check after doing a cut and paste…
