Wonder if this is what Steve and I saw one night hovering over an intersection by SkyCity on 78 in Oxford back in the early 70’s. We thought it was a UFO at the time.
Science and Society Picture Library
Lotta interesting stuff here.
Interesting garden wear.
Probably not safe for work. Actually some of these pix may not be safe anywhere with the thought police around…
FVR Online – CDR Railcar No. 12 Gallery
British rail cars are a bit different than ours. Love the engine pix.
The whole book formatted in html for reading via browser. Cool!

Model 1600 – Distillers – Waterwise
My mother asked me which kind of water purification unit I wanted and this is the one I decided on.
All stainless steel construction and no moving parts. Any heat source is supposed to work and they mention wood and coal fires. Only requirement is a level surface.
Another big plus is there are no filters or other expendables used so the only ongoing costs will be the cost of heat.
Update Thursday, October 16 2008:
The Alabama Airsoft Forum is no longer at located at Technoprimitive.org due to excessive bandwidth requirements and no assistance from the forum members toward offsetting hosting costs. While we were hosting the games there was some money coming in from the airsoft folks so this wasn’t a big deal. However, it has now been months since the games were played here and I can no longer afford to continue supporting the increasing forum traffic, so I shut it down 2 weeks ago and have now removed the subdomain and forum redirect completely. Since I am still getting hits from people trying to find the forum I am posting this link. Please bookmark it.
The new site is located at Alabama Airsoft Forum.
Don’t remember if I have posted a link to the Alabama Airsoft Yahoo group before or not. Which ever it be, here it is. Members only so you will have to register to get in but some of the pix are worth the pain of joining.
