Looks like Google Voice is restricted to the x86 platform on Linux. 🙁 So no phone in or out from this machine.

Need to see if google voice will work. If so may be moving my usage to that instead of having to use a separate program to call.

And am now posting from the iBook via wireless. So mostly success! Don’t think Skype is working on the ppc platform yet which is a pain.

Getting closer on the iBook. Doing a reboot to see if I have now gotten the wireless working.

Still need to get the tractor out and move the trailer to the other entrance so it can be gotten to with a truck. Where it is now = no way.

Rain started just as I was finishing unloading the building wood from the borrowed trailer. Hoping it will let up later in the afternoon.

As much firewood gathered as is gonna get done today. Hoping it’s enough for the next few rainy days.

Trailer (first one) unloaded. Wood (building stuff) mostly stacked and under cover. iBook still installing. Lunch cooking and heating.

Will see what my energy holds out for.

Then go and cut some firewood and bring it back to the compound to split. Need to take some time later to run out to Valley Antiques.

Then to crank the tractor and move the trailer to the other entrance. Next on the gotta do list is to unload the OTHER trailer.

Still installing… Got about a third of the trailer of wood unloaded and stacked. Hoping to get it all done before noon.

Need to get off the arse and be out doing stuff, but was hoping to get the iBook done first. Will give it another few minutes and see.

Still installing. Seems to be a bunch of Gnome stuff getting put in that I didn’t expect. Guess it’s gotta be there for all to work right.
