I think a grated cheese added when served would have been better. Ah, well, experiment and learn… 😉

And I wonder about adding a couple of beaten eggs into the mix when it goes into the baking pan. The cheese wasn’t the best idea I have had.

Turned out pretty good. I think next time I make it, I’ll use the pork and hamburger and see how that works.

Ended up taking a LOT longer to cook in the countertop oven than I had expected, nearly an hour and a half to get done.

Only had ground black olives, not sure how that is gonna affect it but it do smell good so far. Will add cheese to the top at about 35 min.

Substituted ground turkey seasoned for tacos for the pork and beef. Had to add water to the corn/tomato mix as the corn had none in it.

Tamale pie in oven. Still got yesterdays soup but found a recipe that sounded too good to not try. URL in next tweet.

Lunch done. Entire tool box of lost tools found. Thinking hard about taking an afternoon nap.

Gonna try to eat and then see if I can make any sense of the mess. Or take another nap. Or something…

Really want to try to get some of the tools, supplies, and other stuff sorted out prior to doing all that but not sure its gonna happen.

Guess I need to move all the toolboxes and assorted crap off of the table, move the table, build the shelf, move stuff on to it, n move on.

Feeling a bit better as well as worse??? Been trying to get the beginning of the sorting process started and find meself going in circles.

Guess I needed that nap.

Gonna finish my second cup of coffee and lay back down for a bit longer. Well, after I reload the wood burner that is…

Got several things here that I need to get done and am going to try to find the energy to do at least some of them but is gonna be later.

Cold has moved down into the chest. Taking another sick day and staying in. So far other than making coffee and breakfast have done nothing.

@ScionBoo quick cheap solution to cold wet feet, take shoes and socks off, put plastic shopping bags on feet then replace socks n shoes

The faucet in the sinuses has turned down a bit and am starting to feel almost human again other than the headache. Hoping that goes soon…

Soup is close to ready. Gonna try to give it another 30 to 45 minutes though am getting quite hungry from the smell.

Quite a bit of ice on the ground here just northwest of Weaver, and more falling. Glad we got to the store and back when we did.

With current temp of wood burner, figure it will take about 2 hours to cook. Maybe a bit less if I have to poke it up as outside temp drops.

Salt, pepper, all into cast iron pan, which is now on wood burner. Should make a fairly decent stew/soup. May add other bits later.

Got food cooking for later in the day. 2 lb packs of frozen stew veg, 1 onion (sliced), 1 can stewed tom, 1/2 lb cooked Boston butt, water.

Weather is looking quite nasty. Need to make a short trip out to get milk, and after looking at the radar looks like we need to do it soon.

Home with this damn head cold today. Nearly had a wreak last night due to coughing so hard so decided to not chance the drive today.

Have both clocks in for repair running. Neither is totally fixed nor ready to go back to their respective homes, but getting closer.

Think I am getting better. Less sore this afternoon than yesterday and this morning for sure. Guess at 57 I have to expect crap like this…

Been ill again the last couple of days. Along with super sore from crawling around on the roof for 5+ hours Sunday.
