Been one of those days. Made it thought it despite all with no bloodshed, mine or others. Hoping tomorrow is better. Till then folks… 😉

Which is the part that is fried. Now to find another plug without all the bs in it to replace it with.

Just got the security screws out of the air conditioner breaker plug to find that it’s just a plug with current sensor/breaker built in.

“braking/breaking” last tweet… 🙁

The time involved in cutting it is in chopping the roots around the base then braking it off below ground level so as to not leave a stump.

Doesn’t seem like much but this stuff is 30+ feet long and some 3+ inches in diameter.

Just back from another morning harvesting bamboo. Got 10 pieces cut, dragged to the compound, and laid against the trailer & qhut.

Wore bare minimum this morning and had no trouble with heat or bloodsucking critters.

Got 5 pieces yesterday afternoon before I got overheated mainly due to clothing for protection from mosquitoes and biting flies.

Tis about hot outside. Been harvesting bamboo this morning. Got 9 pieces cut loose, dragged to the compound and stood up over the trailer.

Tin over that and on to the inside…

Then will grind and cut the surface smooth and cover the entire top with billboard plastic. Caulked seam right down the top center board.

Found more in the piles by the equipment trailer. Tied the top down and am about ready to start foaming the roof bits into one solid mass.

As well as some of the other roads/paths in the woods up here around the compound. Added the new batch to the old and still needed more.

Went into the spillway & got some that was left there from the air soft days. Cut on the way back too & cleared around the storage trailer.

Needed more so I cranked the tractor and cut the roads up to the dam and to the bamboo thicket.

Used as much of the strapping as I had here and got a little over half way to tying the outside strips to foam them into place.

Cut the strips out of the sheet and fitted them into the openings on the roof of the camper.

Finally got some energy. Ground a few of the lucite pegs down, then cleared off the cutting table off, and moved the sheet of foam onto it.

Problem is I’m too tired to finish up the project I’d started on. Taking a break, will go back to it later in the day if I find the energy.

Finally drilled a small center hole and used an end mill bit to cut the center hole. Rock is now dead true!

Found a piece of lucite to cut a new spacer from. Turned down the outside and went to drill the center hole and the bit wouldn’t cut true.

Found the grind rock was out of round after reseating it on the hand grinder. Had forgotten that I’d used an old socket as a center spacer.

Today seems to be one of those days. Started out wanting to clean up the ends of plastic rods that I had cut to use for jewelry display.

Got several pieces I need to make for the Janney Furnace Museum. 2 display stands & 2 art pieces. Need to get off the arse & get at it.

And we’re back. Long day on the road. Got some stuff taken care of but will have to be out and about again Friday to finish things up.

Heading to Calcis today instead of tomorrow. Got a call and am working at Valley Antiques again tomorrow. Will be back when we get back. 🙂

Gonna put in a section of our jewelry and weaving. At least one section of shelving for necklaces and bracelets and another area for belts.

Made a bit but worked for every penny. Sold a lot of little stuff. Going back tomorrow to redo part of the booth.

Long day at the yard sale/working at the store. Got there about 6:30 am and left about 5:45 pm. Came home, unloaded, & went to wally world.

Just gonna set banana boxes of stuff out for the customers to paw through.

Started hauling stuff out to the truck for the yard sale at Valley Antiques Saturday. We’re working tomorrow so guess we’ll set up then.

Making Antler Buttons http://t.co/4xzawlbe

Took the pictures of the hand vices as well as of grinding, polishing, edging, and drilling the holes in the buttons. Now to do a post.

Guess they are actually called hand vices. Will get some pictures of them here in a bit.

Finished screwing the foam to the inside of the camper roof/ceiling. Cut several antler buttons. Made 2 different pin vices to hold them.

Just finished a late lunch and am fighting the urge to call it a day and crawl back into bed.

Took the walk. Made it to the top of the hill and then had to hurry back down as someone called to say they were on the way over.

Part of me wants to go for a walk. Another part wants to go back to bed.

Copper Wire Key http://t.co/egMzbasb

Need to move the bench grinder out there too. Hand grinder is nice but with a few dozen to do, I think ac is gonna win over hand/arm power.

Kinda stinks when cutting it up, drilling it, and grinding it so wanted to do it away from the house.

Moved the jig saw from the back stoop to the 10×20. Need to saw up some horn to make buttons and necklace bits out of.

Which should work with the south wall of the mobile home as it’s between 10′ and 12′ high. That will let me use the roof to store stuff on.

Have to have enough fall for good runoff and with a outside wall a minimum of 15′, the inner wall (20′ away) will need to be 17′ minimum.

Think it’s getting close to time to clear out the inbox on gmail. Went over 9k unread this past week. :-O

Took pix of the new stuff I have done but am not up to resizing & uploading it tonight. Gonna call it an early night, so till the morrow…

Think I can build the building, for $0 out of pocket, using bits and pieces of stuff lying around. And yes, there IS a LOT of stuff here.

Think I must be getting better. I have managed to get 2 necklaces done, and started planning a temporary 12’x20′ work building, all today.
