The drive was originally via overhead belt and has been converted to electric motor with 3 speed transmission. Cool adaption!

Stopped at the barn on the way back up to look at the milling machine. Turns out it’s a Rockford with a Rridgeport head grafted on.

Had planned on peaking it to the Q-hut with the low side to the north but if the high side is to the east it’ll be easier to add on later.

Moved another load of brush/trash to the pile in the field. Looks like another 10 loads or so will get the area in front of the Q-hut done.

After that’s cleared will start on the west side of the Q-hut to drop the dead pines. Got 2 dead ones that are 80+ foot high that gotta go.
