A first in the plant world.  Interesting read.  Now to find a deodorent for tomatoes… 😉

    Scent-driven vampire plants! Cool! What is the defense-perfume for tomatoes that makes them smell like something the dodder doesn’t want to suck the juices from? But would that run off the bees needed for pollination?

    Ecology is complicated, and wonderful, and STRANGE…..
