Camper as of October 10, 2007
Got the windows in (and yes, Steve, they ARE the only type of Windows that I do) as well as the door. Still got a lot of the inside to finish but getting a LOT closer every day.

A shot with the door open. Getting closer and closer. Had to buy another 2 pounds of screws and 2 tubes of caulk yesterday. Put our cash outlay at just over $15.00. I think that will be the last we have to spend (other than the tag) to finish this one up. At least until after the shakedown trip.

Window now installed in right side.

Crank out style window from old camper shell. 10"X18" opening with screen on inside.

Left side of camper with picnic table being used to hold stuff while working.

Left side window. Same as right side. Had to replace the screen in this one. Dug into the piles of stuff over here and found some that matched the original.

Inside view showing new windows, couch/bed, and storage boxes underneath. Still got a ways to go but getting closer.

Closer view of the right side window from the inside.

Starting on finishing the ceiling. Had to add several strips of both 1/2 inch plywood as well as 1/4 inch plywood and paneling to space out past the conduit ribs. Will add another piece of the 3/16 plywood below each side of the center piece and then use paneling below that. The 3/16 is scrap that is used in crating siding. Good stuff, scrap…

Another shot showing some of the spacing strips.

And the other side. Strip light gives plenty of illumination day or night.

Door is in and almost done. Still need to replace the window crank and screen wire. Took it off another old camper that will be a frame donor at some point. Had to add a 2.25 inch strip at the top and replace the red plastic siding at the top but that was a small price to pay for a functioning door with a roll out window. 😉
