Temp still going up in here even though electric heater turned off an hour ago. Time to reload woodburner and stir soup one more time.

Couch and most other surfaces cleared of coats, hats, bags, and other hangable items. Soup is about ready.

Pegboard taken down from by front door and coat peg rail put up. Another piece of pegboard put up across from door under shelves.

Laptop now on the folding table in front of the couch. Gotta figure out where to put the chair I have been sitting in, at least till later.

So till later folks…

Gonna see about clearing out the area where the laptop is perched and get started on the wall/shelves between here and the bathroom.

And can’t get it out/up the hill till things melt, so suspect will be a day or two before we get out to go anywhere.

Taking it easy today as the roads are quite nasty and even if they weren’t, the truck is in the field in case of falling trees/lines.

Warm in here using the wood we cut and split. Am now cooking lunch on the woodburner also. Power didn’t go off but was ready if it did.

Spent the last couple of days busting ass, trying to get everything ready for the snow/ice storm. Made it with an hour to spare.
