Now to take a few pictures of the cleaned and repaired pieces and then start the reassembly process. After a cup of coffee and a walk.

Just got the last piece of the Seth Thomas out of the ultrasonic, washed in alcohol and dried. Got another movement in cleaning now.

That’s start over after taking all I had put on off as well as removing the rest of the old. Have got one coat back on & drying now.

Remembered I should have used hot after adding cleaner. One of those days. Put another coat of shellac on too soon and had to start over.

Figure it will take another hour to get up to temp as I used cold water when I filled it. 🙁

Got the ultrasonic cleaner cleaned out, filled up, and a new lid made. Tis sitting on the bench a few feet away making buzzing noises.

Got to move the ultrasonic cleaner in here after I clean it up/out and do a final cleaning on the movement parts. Then put it back together.

First coat of shellac on the damaged spot in the clock case. Gonna take at least 2 to 3 more coats but looks like it will work fine.

Up. Coffee made and being consumed. Suprisingly able to move without much pain this morning. Unlike last night when it all hurt…

When split each round is more than a wheelbarrow full of wood. Am much more sore tonight than I was last night.

Am at the point in the trunk that the 18″ bar on the chain saw is not going all the way through so am having to cut from both sides.

Got most of the remaining log rounds split, moved and stacked today. Think there are 4 left to do, along with another 20-25 feet of tree.
